And the Good News is... More Suffering and Persecution

Dear Mosaic,

So often we seek to avoid pain, suffering and most assuredly, any persecution for our faith. It's not my favorite thing to look forward to, and I'm guessing it's not yours.

But as Peter writes to his readers in the second half of I Peter 4 and picks up this theme of "more suffering persecution is coming," he turns it on its head. In fact, he provides the motivation not only for enduring it, but how to live victoriously -- perhaps even joyously -- right in the midst of suffering. 

We will pick up with verse 12 on Sunday and dig right into this amazing passage of Scripture.
