Peace on Earth -- Really?

Hello Mosaic,

The holiday season is filled with references to peace, but while many of us may experience an emotion that feels like peace sometime in the next few weeks, it is fleeting and dissipates not long after the new year begins. As we celebrate Advent and God incarnate in our midst, we are reminded that one of the many titles attributed to Jesus Christ is the “Prince of Peace.”

Can Jesus bring us peace that lasts longer than the holiday season and transcends the troubles of this broken world in which we live? The answer He gives us is a resounding “Yes!” Let’s look at the Scriptures and be encouraged by the peace He brought us over two thousand years ago, the peace He left with us, and the peace yet to come upon His return.
