The Arrival of Hope
Hello Mosaic,
When is the last time you found yourself deeply hoping for a significant change in your life, in someone you love, or in a painful circumstance? Have you been clinging to hope this year? Last month, or perhaps even this week? And what keeps you hoping for something good to transpire even after years of no change and perhaps even years of disappointment? It's an odd thing, isn't it, but hope has a way of keeping us in the game rather than despairing and giving up.
In this special season of Advent, we prepare our hearts this week by focusing on hope, lasting hope that stems from God's provision of a Messiah and Savior at just the right time. We'll be considering what it means to have a grounded hope even as we explore God's redemptive work and plan for those who felt hopeless. So if you've been feeling hopeless as of late, this is the week to be at Mosaic....and maybe you'll even hear a couple testimonials of fellow Mosaic-ites sharing what God has been teaching them about hope in difficult situations.
See you Sunday, dear Mosaic family!
