The Resurrection of the King

Dear Mosaic Family,

This Sunday, Easter Sunday, the Church around the world will gather together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave is certainly a cause for celebration. He was crucified on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose on the third day victoriously!

The historical account of the empty tomb and the resurrected appearances of Jesus are recorded by all four gospel writers. The Apostle Paul records a detailed list of men and women who saw the resurrected Jesus. If he had remained dead in the tomb, then we would still be dead in our sins. But more than just a historical event, this Sunday we will look at how the power inside us is the same power that raised Christ from the grave.

Because He Lives, we can live!
