The Arrival of the King
Hello Mosaic Family!
We are just one week away from Easter and our celebration of the Resurrection!
In preparation for that celebration, we are going to be declaring the arrival of the King and the declaration of the Kingdom. The prophet Zechariah wrote, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold your king is coming to you, He is righteous and He brings salvation! He is lowly, and He is riding upon a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey!” (Zechariah 9:9)
When Jesus rode into Jerusalem in His Triumphal entry 2,000 years ago, He wasn’t just announcing the coming of a future Kingdom... He was announcing the arrival of the Kingdom of God! This is the same Kingdom that you and I belong to today. It is a Kingdom full of power and the glory of the Lord – so much power and glory that Jesus said if those who laid their clothes in the street and who cut down palm branches in the way were to keep silent, the very rocks would cry out in worship!!! (Matthew 21:8)
Join us as we cry out in worship to the One who is worthy of all honor and praise! God has given us a fresh Word from Matthew 21:1-11 specifically for this Palm Sunday, April 10th, 2022.
Pray with me now.
Heavenly Father, prepare our hearts to worship You. We want to experience the reality of the Kingdom of God. We want to celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus as the King of kings and Lord of Lords, and we want to know the Power of the Love and Passion that took Jesus Christ to the cross. Jesus, we lift Your Name on high. Amen!
Blessings,
