Doing a New Thing

Hello Mosaic,

As we prepare to usher in a new year, many of us are hoping and praying for 2022 to be a much better experience for everyone, given what we've endured in 2020 and 2021. We live in troubled times, with incalculable suffering and loss, distrust and divisiveness arguably unlike any we've seen in our lifetimes, and the loss of a shared story among us that brings us together.

Yet what has always given us hope in times of trouble is the chance to restart the clock and start anew. It could be a new hour, a new day, or a new year - it doesn't matter to our God, whose mercies are new every morning, who makes all things new, and is constantly doing a new thing. I look forward to sharing with you the tremendous story that can only be told by and about the God of new things.
