Redemption and Re-birth

In John 21, Jesus shared a meal around a campfire on the beach with several of His disciples. He wanted to address the core issue that He knew Peter was struggling with. He wanted to call Peter in deeper; ask him to go further. You see, Peter could have very well thought this was the end of the line for him, and to be honest, he was probably haunted with the thoughts that he had finished poorly. With three denials of Jesus fresh in his memory, there was every possibility that this was the end of the road for him.

But…but Jesus is all about redemption, re-birth, new story lines, and opportunities to breathe new life into us.

Jesus and Peter dive into an interesting and significant conversation regarding love. A conversation that echoes through eternity to you and me.
