How Rich is God's Grace?

May 15, 2022    Walt Davis

Dear Mosaic Family,

A few weeks ago (at our family meeting), we Elders shared that we had invited a pastor and church planter from Crozet, Virginia, to come and teach at Mosaic to provide us with some much-needed help and relief. His name is Walt Davis, and he will be teaching this Sunday morning.

Walt provided the following about his message this weekend.

“What is the basis for God’s forgiveness of your sins? Answers could be “the cross,” “our asking,” “the blood of Jesus,” and so on. But what does the Apostle Paul teach the Ephesians our forgiveness of sins is according to? We tend to place limits on forgiveness. We place parameters on it, but how does God handle the forgiveness of our sins? Read Ephesians 1:7-8 before Sunday if you get a chance. It changed the trajectory of my life back in 2012. It very well may yours too! My sin is as forgiven as God is rich in His Grace!”

Below is a brief bio about Walt and his family:

Walt Davis is a 41-year-old husband to April and father to Gwyn (11), Drake (9), & Reeslyn (7). After playing football at Liberty University, he served in a local church in Lynchburg for 10 years before moving to the Charlottesville area in 2011 to plant a new church. While being a believer since age of 13, it wasn’t until 2 years into planting this new church that Walt really began to discover just how good the good news really is. Walt is a General Contractor and the owner of Alpha & Omega Home Improvement Contracting, LLC. Right now, when he’s not overseeing the four remodels he’s got going, you’ll likely find Walt at a baseball or softball diamond with his family, coaching or cheering on one of his kids.

Join us this weekend as we welcome and get to know Walt, April and the kids.

See you Sunday,

The Elders (John, Jeff & Ron)
